FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24, 1997.

A full 31 years after "The Monkees In A Ghost Town" (prod. #4704) aired first-run on NBC as Episode No. 7 of The Monkees television series, the seeds of a new Monkees fansite were sown, and blossomed to well beyond full flower over the years.

Having armed myself with a free account @ Tripod and settled down in in a computer lab @ Isaac Delgado Community College, I took keyboard in hand and gave life to The Monkees Film & TV Vault, a Monkees fan page (loosely patterned after Louis Colli's The Monkees Music Vault) which is a comprehensive guide to The Monkees' filmed work, on TV and the big screen, the product of 10+ long years' worth of research, and (for my money) the first-ever fully detailed account of The Monkees' film and television history. And as you all know, it recently relocated to a new, easier-accessible Tripod address: http://monkeesfilmtv.tripod.com/.

On today, the Silk Anniversary of this site's inauguration, I, as always, extend a word of thanks for your loyal support and many contributions which has helped enable The Monkees Film & TV Vault to have a dozen magnificent years online. It has been a magnificent labour of love, and I'm very happy you have enjoyed it as much as I have had building it and giving it to you.

Monkeemania forever!
